Ignite 6 Desk
Privacy policy
Effective August 20, 2026 · Last updated August 20, 2026
Ignite 6 (“we”, “us”) runs a coaching desk at ignite6.grok.me so coaches and athletes can review recovery, strain, sleep, and nutrition in one place. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who sees it. Contact: [email protected].
Who this covers
Coaches and athletes who create an Ignite 6 Desk account. If you are an athlete, your assigned coaches can see the logs and notes on your desk.
Account data
When you sign in with email, Google, or X, we store your name, email, account id, and a session so you can stay signed in. We do not store your Google or X password. Email/password accounts store a hashed password on our database.
Coaching data you enter
The desk stores what you (or your coach) put in it: display name, role (coach or athlete), invite codes, daily Whoop-style logs, Cronometer-style nutrition logs, CSV imports, coach notes, and nutrition/sleep targets. That data lives in our database so both coaches on the staff can review the same roster.
WHOOP
If you connect a WHOOP account, we request only the permissions needed to coach: recovery (score, HRV, resting heart rate, SpO2, skin temperature), daily strain, sleep (duration, stages, performance, efficiency), workouts (sport, strain, heart rate, heart-rate zones, distance, energy), profile name/email, and body measurements (height, weight, max heart rate).
WHOOP authenticates you directly. We receive an access token and pull those summaries. We do not receive beat-by-beat heart-rate streams, GPS tracks, or your WHOOP password. You can disconnect WHOOP at any time in the desk; we then stop pulling and you can ask us to delete stored WHOOP rows. We use WHOOP data only to show it to you and your Ignite 6 coaches.
Oura
If you connect an Oura account, we request daily summaries and workouts: readiness score, sleep score and stages (including deep/SWS and REM), heart rate and HRV from sleep, activity score, and workout summaries (activity type, duration, calories). We also request basic profile fields Oura exposes only to identify the connected ring account.
Oura authenticates you directly. We receive an access token and pull those summaries. We do not receive raw sensor streams or your Oura password. You can disconnect Oura at any time in the desk; we then stop pulling. We use Oura data only to show it to you and your Ignite 6 coaches. If both Whoop and Oura are connected, Whoop is the primary source for overlapping daily metrics.
Cronometer and other imports
Nutrition files you upload (for example a Cronometer CSV) are parsed and stored as daily totals (calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, water). We do not log into Cronometer on your behalf.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. We do not use WHOOP, nutrition, or coaching logs for advertising. We do not share athlete data with anyone outside Ignite 6 staff except as required by law, or with processors that host the app (database and login infrastructure) under this policy.
Where it lives
Account and desk data are stored in a Postgres database we operate (currently hosted by Neon). Login sessions are handled by our app’s auth service. Published pages are served from our hosting provider.
Retention
We keep your account and logs while your desk is active. If you ask us to delete your account at [email protected], we remove your profile, sessions, WHOOP tokens, and logs, except records we must keep for a legal obligation. Coach notes written about an athlete are part of that athlete’s record.
Your choices
You can access and update logs in the desk, disconnect WHOOP, or email us to export or delete your account. Coaches can remove an athlete from the roster; that does not automatically wipe historical logs unless you request deletion.
Children
The desk is for adults in a coaching relationship. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the desk after an update means you accept the revised policy.
